Lobster Roll at Bar Harbor

The Establishment: Is actually a seafood wholesale that sells cooked food, and you sit outside.

The Wait: We went during lunch, so it was a little hectic. The wait was not too bad, maybe 20 minutes from order to picking up the meal.

The Staff: They were very helpful when ordering.

The Order: The menu is very short, with specials advertised on the counter. Please note, you can buy raw fresh seafood there, as well as take out, to take home or eat on the provided picnic benches.

The Food: We ordered Lobster Rolls and Fish and Chips. The lobster rolls were amazing. The lobster was fresh, and the lobster taste was not masked by too much mayo or any other ingredient. Not even the bread. The lobster to bread/ingredients ratio was perfect for me, since I love lobster. We were hungry, and this was a very satisfying lunch. My son had the fish and chips, and he was loved his meal. I tried a piece of the haddock. You tasted the freshness of the fish and the served a whole filet. The breading was nice and light and was accompanied by a large quantity of fries with tartare sauce.

The Price: The rolls were $10.00, and the fish and chips were $8.00

The Consensus: It was overall agreed, that when we head back to Orlando, we will stop there and get fresh seafood to cook at home and get their lunch. I just wished they were open a little later than 3:00 PM.
